Conceito White - Douro Superior Wine 2018

White Concept - This wine presents aromas such as grapefruit, lemon, very well integrated herbs and notes of vanilla and tropical fruits.

VINIFICATION-The grapes are harvested by hand into small boxes, before being refrigerated and pressed in a pneumatic press, without de-stemming. Cold decantation, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled French oak barrels and regular bâtonnage up to one month before bottling, which took place in June 2017. VINES

: Granitic soils. Made from a very old, pre-phylloxera vine, on a small granite plateau (600m altitude) in Freixo de Numão, 15km west of VN Foz Côa.

AGING 10 months in used French oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage.
