Quinta dos Carvalhais White Special 2022

The grapes from the varieties intended for this wine were received at the winery, in small 20 kg boxes, and in
then discharged directly into the pneumatic press. The musts, duly protected from oxidation
through the use of inert gases, they were subjected to static decantation at low temperature, for a
period of 24 hours, in order to achieve the desired degree of cleaning. Interference with deposits of
stainless steel, for around 20 days, at temperatures that did not exceed 16ºC.

With a very bright golden color, Quinta dos Carvalhais Branco Especial is a noble and very complex wine. Aromas of gunpowder, truffles, some honey and dried fruits stand out, as well as resinous nuances and balsamic notes. It is a dense and austere wine, which presents a great aromatic breadth in the mouth. The acidity is lively and very well balanced with a wealth of tertiary aromas and oak notes imparted by the years the wine spent in barrel. It has extraordinary volume and an elegant aftertaste.
