DOMINI PLUS RED WINE

With the aim of overcoming the image of a regional producer company (Península de Setúbal and Alentejo), José Maria da Fonseca was not presented with many alternative solutions: the Douro valley was, in fact, the only one of the Portuguese wine regions capable of to generate added value in compliance with the company's growth projects. The objectives are to improve the excellence of Douro grape varieties and wines, and associate them with the image and trust of José Maria da Fonseca. The immediate priorities focus on the land, through the acquisition of Quinta de Mós, a total of 15 hectares of vineyards aged 10 to 15 years, planted with Touriga Francesa, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz for, firstly, top production. Domini Plus red range and, later, Domini red wine.

Deep red color. Aroma of rockrose, raspberry, cassis, violets, figs and spices. Palate Very fruity, persistent, round and with soft tannins, well-integrated oak wood and good acidity. Long in the aftertaste.
