SANDEMAN PORT WINE 40 YEARS OLD
SANDEMAN PORT WINE 40 YEARS OLD
House of Sandeman was founded in London, in 1790, by George Sandeman, a young Scottish man from Perth who decided to invest 300 pounds, lent by his father, in creating a business exporting Port and Jerez wines. Always a pioneer, Sandeman was the first company to brand a fire barrel with its name, guaranteeing the quality of the wine it sold. For more than two centuries, Sandeman has based its success on a rare capacity for innovation and expertise passed down from generation to generation.
Currently, launched by the Portuguese company Sogrape Vinhos, Sandeman clearly sees itself as "the" global Port and Jerez brand and proudly signs: "Sandeman, Famous for Pleasure".
Sandeman Porto Tawny 40 Years Old is an intense wine with a deep bouquet and strong aromas of vanilla, oak and honey. In the mouth it is very complex with a taste of dried fruit, spices and dried fruits. As the wine opens gently and develops in the mouth, we notice the extraordinary balance between aging in wood and the vivacity of the wine, very characteristic of Sandeman Tawny Ports.
